Terms & Conditions
Please take a minute to read the terms and conditions for your live in pet sit.
All payments will be receipted.
All cancellations must be made by email.
Any request for me to arrive the DAY PRIOR to your CONTRACTED start, will be charged at your full daily rate (if my schedule allows)
Any additional tasks unrelated to the pets welfare must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the commencement of the pet sit. If agreed, these will be charged for on an individual basis.
Your care contract and paid deposit ‘locks in’ your 24h Horse and Pet sit for the reserved dates.
A non refundable 30% deposit is required in order to secure your booking.
Should a client be delayed for any reason after the agreed end date/time, a surcharge of €100,00 PLUS the daily rate will be applied.
Any sit ending on/after 7pm/19h French time in which my journey home is 2 hours or more will incur a cost of minimum 100.00€ PLUS your daily rate.
Any bank transfer made for an end of sit payment is requested with immediate effect.
Late payment charges will be applied.
Please ensure there is adequate milk, tea and coffee for the duration of the sit.
Households with an open fire or log burner/any chimney based heating, please supply a 5kg bag of fine white salt as first stage action in the event of a chimney fire, as professionally advised.
Any horse and pet care reservation is guaranteed upon signing of the contract. Should any extreme extenuating family circumstances arise on the part of the sitter:
A) Before the start of the service, prior notice will be given as far in advance as possible of the annulment of the contract and your deposit will be refunded in full.
B) During the sit and I am unable to complete the sit, you, the client, will be contacted immediately, as will your preferred emergency contact and you will only be invoiced for the days worked.
